Digital Modernization of the Food Industry
U-Food Association Acts as an Information Partner for the "Industry 5.0 in the Agri-Food Sector" Event
The U-Food Association has officially joined as an information partner for the large-scale two-day offline event "Industry 5.0 in the Agri-Food Sector: People, Technologies, and a New Culture of Collaboration." The event will take place on July 15–16, 2026, at the "Bila Tserkva" Industrial Park (Kyiv Region). The event is organized by the Association of Industrial Automation of Ukraine (APPAU) and the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA).
In recent years, the activities of the U-Food Association have been focused on developing its outsourcing center, supporting export potential, and introducing Ukrainian producers to international markets. Current challenges—specifically the shortage of qualified personnel, the need for increased energy efficiency, and adaptation to strict European Union standards—require the industry to move to a new level.
In this regard, the U-Food Association is launching a new strategic direction of its work aimed at promoting technological modernization, automation, and large-scale digitalization of domestic agri-food enterprises.
Key topics of the event:
Digital and Green Transformation: practical tools for adapting Ukrainian production facilities to EU market requirements.
Industry 4.0 and 5.0 Technologies: real cases of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), as well as ERP and MES systems into food manufacturing.
Energy Security: solutions for ensuring autonomy and improving the energy efficiency of enterprises.
Grant Opportunities: attracting funding for innovation projects through donor and European programs.
A special feature of the event will be its practical component: during the second day (July 16), participants will visit leading manufacturing enterprises in the region that have already successfully implemented modern digital solutions, allowing for an exchange of experience with factory managers.
Participation conditions and registration:
Target audience: CEOs, production directors, technical specialists, technology integrators, and industry experts.
Special conditions: FREE registration for representatives of agri-food enterprises has been extended until June 30, 2026, inclusive.
Participation fee from July 1: 2,800 UAH per participant (the number of seats is limited).
