U-FOOD Association joins the DIGI4TAF digital transformation programme for the agri-food sector
U-FOOD Association is joining the DIGI4TAF programme, aimed at supporting the digital transformation of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the agri-food sector of central and western Ukraine. The training component of the programme is delivered by the Association team together with Quality Centre, as part of UNIDO Green Industrial Recovery initiative for Ukraine
U-FOOD Association is becoming a participant in the DIGI4TAF programme, implemented within the framework of UNIDO Green Industrial Recovery Programme for Ukraine (2024–2028), with financial support from the governments of Austria and Bulgaria, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
Within the programme, enterprises in central and western Ukraine will have the opportunity to:
assess their level of digital maturity;
develop an individual digital transformation roadmap;
improve production planning and operational efficiency;
establish quality management and traceability systems;
master digital tools for food production;
exchange experience with industry experts.
For U-FOOD Association, participation in DIGI4TAF is a natural extension of the work of the Outsourcing Centre launched in 2022. During this time, the centre has provided over 2,600 services to 600+ enterprises across 20 regions of Ukraine — from equipment repair and relocation to recipe development and certification consulting. Digital transformation is becoming the next direction of business support.
